The "Speak Your Mind" versus Rudeness.

I don't mind people that speak what they're thinking and feeling. If in a conversation about the topic, sure, go ahead. If you're going to call someone out in high school about talking shit behind your back, do it; HOWEVER, when someone points out your flaws, that's fucking rude. "Your butt looks saggy in those shorts," a twelve-year-old says to me. "It really does, Joe," her mom adds.
When the fuck did I ask for someone's opinion? Sure, you're allowed to speak your mind, but it doesn't mean you SHOULD. I was raised to be kind of everyone; though I haven't done that well, I don't point out people's flaws out of nowhere.
AND THEN, little Ms. Twelve-year-old asks me for some food. Why would I give you food when you insult me? Don't respect me, I don't respect you.
Now, I know you 'badass' and 'outspoken' people would say stuff like, "Oh, well she was just telling you the truth." Read what I just said. You're not 'badass' when you make people feel like shit.
I'm all for speaking what's on your mind, but when it gets into insulting someone else... expect the worst, because the best you will not see.
